We will explore eco printing with the dirty pot method. Students will learn about preparing the dirty pot, prepping materials and which plants work best. Then we will each ecoprint a silk/wool blend scarf, bundle it and put it in the pot to heat. While the scarves simmer we will experiment with Hapazome (flower pounding) on mordanted fabric and eco printing on paper using a heat press.
